I decided to go for a run around town this evening after work. I was dragging but I kept going and ran for the entire 30 minutes. One more day and I will have completed the Couch to 5k program. After that it's just a matter of sticking with the running and going for 30 minute jogs or longer. I didn't have any trouble with my shoes tonight like I did after my first run so that's a good sign.
I still need to find some races to run in the area. My official time in the 2-mile run last Saturday was 21:35.
Also, I registered a domain for this blog. You might have noticed it in the address bar. I copied another guy named Ben who has been at this since January of last year. His story is very inspiring. I came across his site last month. There's a link to his site on the sidebar, Ben Does Life. I emailed him today to see if he was cool with using the same type of domain name. He responded and was more than fine with it. I highly recommend you check out his site and look at how far he's come. He's lost 120 pounds through diet and exercise.
